Description:
The Ghost of Joaquin Murrieta still haunts the Vasco caves. Join us as we explore ghost stories, haunts and hobgoblins lurking in the tule fog. Stories from our family roots in Mexico, Wales, New England, and Europe find a new context for fright in California. Welsh mining tales of ghosts found in the mines are told at Black Diamond, the specter of La Llorona is transplanted from the Mexican Caribbean to the Big Break Shoreline. Even the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow reappears in Knightsen and rides his horse into Sonya’s Tavern. Beware of the “Twilight Zone” as you travel past the old Slaughterhouse on Empire Mine Road!
